Discover the Brilliance of You
I know it’s been a while, but I have been on an incredible journey
exploring the world of PURPOSE! I’m so thrilled to be back! I have
missed you all tremendously!
The Purpose of Purpose
In my last few posts, before I shifted my writing responsibilities, I
was writing about how understanding the driving force behind your
life helped you to be able to achieve the ever expanding and
rewarding life of an ARTIST. (Artist: 2. A person whose work shows
exceptional creative ability or skill.)
It is this perspective of life that allows us to rise above the noise
and continue to create a life filled with love, compassion, and hope
even when it feels as though the world around us seems to be
crashing around our ears.
Today I pick up where I left off!
I have found that many people confuse purpose with goals. Two
different words. Two different meanings. A goal is the thing you want
to achieve and purpose is why you want to achieve it. The driving
force behind the existence of our lives (the why of our lives) can be
defined as purpose, yes, but I realized that it can also be defined in an
even more specific yet expansive way. A way that allows us to
connect a world that might feel out of reach to a world of practical
application. How do we get from here (lost or confused) to there
(found or filled with understanding)?
Today, I offer you a reference point you can return to again and
again to measure your life. With it, you are given a chance to
rehabilitate all that is beautiful and lovely about you.
A place you can compare what is to what could be.
That place?
That magical moment you were born.
Think about it. In that moment, you are you.
You are endowed in that moment with everything you need to
achieve an incredible life.
You can see it in a child’s smile…in their laugh.
They are whole and beautiful and lovely. They are unique. They
will not grow up to be someone.
They already are.
If they are lucky, they will grow up to be them.
Let me put it this way.
When you are born, there is a spark, an energy, a core spiritual
essence that defines the magnitude, direction, and potential of your
life. This is your Spiritual Fingerprint.
It is definitive.
It is brilliance.
It is lovely.
It is you.
How you utilize this fingerprint to create your life is infinite.
The idea of living the life of an ARTIST is that it allows you to
expand fully and achieve your ultimate potential. Having a route to
reconnect with or identify your potential is crucial to being able to
achieve this.
How do you get back to that place? How do you re-connect with
the road to your best life? How do you rehabilitate all that is lovely
and beautiful about you? We’ll talk more about that next week.
