Welcome to the beginning of your lovely, lovely, lovely life!
Until now we have been dealing with and addressing all the things that stop us from achieving happiness, success, and fulfillment. Today, that stops! Haha. Today, we move on to the next step of living the life of an ARTIST; a beautiful, productive, happy and fulfilling life!
We have reached a delightful step. Step #4 - Elevate Your Skill.
First, I just want to acknowledge what an extraordinary thing you have done thus far. There are so many ways in this world to get sidetracked, to give up or to just settle. You my friends, by simply visiting this blog each week are committing to making your life better. You know you can do it and knowing is a powerful thing!
So, let’s get to it. I love these three words, “Elevate Your Skill.” I LOVE THEM!
I’ll tell you why. It’s because it combines the two things that validate how amazing we can be!
1. the ability to use one's knowledge effectively and readily in execution or performance.
2. dexterity or coordination especially in the execution of learned physical tasks.
The first acknowledges effectiveness of our knowledge and the second validates our ability to execute.
Wow! Do you get how extraordinary that is?
This is what we have been leading up to. Bringing together and mastering the world in our heads and mastering the physical world we live in. When both come together, the magic starts to happen.
There is an awakening to new ideas, new perspectives, and to the suggestion of new tools. It’s truly incredible!
It comes over you like a brilliant light and you finally understand fully the word, “brilliance.”
The thing is every idea, perspective, perception, sensation…they were always there in you, you just couldn’t see them.
We literally had to do the work to remove the barriers set up for ourselves in order to access them.
You have to know that this place is there. That it is worth uncovering. It is worth all the confronting and discovering and searching!
What a magical place it is. You know this because when you are there, it feels right. It is the proverbial “zone” we so often hear about. There is an effortlessness; an ease about life. Everything is beautiful. There are answers to everything. Hope is abundant and creation is limitless.
Wow! Out of the darkness and into the light!
It takes a whole lot of work and a whole lot of confronting, but it is completely and utterly worth it!
It is at this point that this word, “ARTIST” begins to take shape. There is a bit more to it but you start to understand the magic of being an ARTIST and equally as important you start to understand and appreciate the ARTIST in others.
Next week we will dive into more depth about Elevating Your Skill, but this week I just want you to know that you are on your path and that you are closer than you have ever been to achieving the life you have always known you could live. It is right there!
